Surprise! Niecy Nash may be married once more.
The “Claws” star took to social media on Monday to reveal that she and singer Jessica Betts have married.
“Mrs. Carol Denise Betts,” Nash captioned an Instagram photo of herself and Betts holding hands and smiling. within the photo, Nash wears a white bridal gown with an extended veil flowing behind her, while Betts dons a button-down evening shirt, pants, sneakers, vest, and tie.
“#LoveWins,” Nash added, alongside a hoop emoji. Betts shared an equivalent photo on her Instagram, writing, “I got an entire Wife.”
According to l. a. Times and Out magazine, the wedding announcement is that the first time Nash has to begin publicly as a part of the LGBTQ community.

The news comes but a year after Nash announced that she and husband Jay Tucker were divorcing.
Nash also took to her Instagram Story Monday to share a photograph of Betts together with her arm around her. The actress added the hashtag “#PlotTwist” alongside a rainbow emoji.
In another Instagram post-Monday, Betts shared her 2018 love song “Catch Me,” writing “C A U G H T” with a hoop emoji. within the song, Betts croons about wanting someone to catch her when she falls:
I’ve lost my heart
And many people before
Just as I assumed
And I just don’t need it anymore
When I flee
Away immediately
Will you catch me
Before the air lets out
Betts sang the song with Nash on the set of “Claws,” where the singer had a task during the Season 2 finale. In one of Betts’ Instagram posts from 2018, Nash wears a marriage dress for her costume as Betts accompanies her on the guitar. Nash was still married to Tucker at the time, whom she wed in 2011. during a joint statement, the star announced the couple’s separation in October 2019. Their divorce was finalized in March.

Several celebrities left comments on Nash’s post, sharing their congratulations and excitement for the newlyweds.

“Empire” star Taraji P. Henson wrote that she was “so happy” for Nash.
“May God bless your beautiful union!” wrote director Ava DuVernay. “Love you!”
“American Horror Story” star Sarah Paulson wrote that she loved Nash “so much,” which she emphasized with a slew of heart and hands emojis.
“You look GORGEOUS!” Mindy Kaling wrote. “Congratulations!! such a lot like to you both!”
