Bindi Irwin is pregnant with her first child with husband Chandler Powell.
Bindi Irwin and her husband, Chandler Powell, announced Tuesday that they’re expecting their first child together. They called the baby their “Wildlife Warrior” and said they’re due next year.
Irwin, the daughter of the late conservationist and tv personality Steve Irwin, shared the exciting news on Instagram on Tuesday morning. The wildlife activist updates a photograph of her and Powell holding a baby zookeeper shirt from the Australia Zoo, which was founded by her grandparents and remains travel by the Irwin family.

Bindi Irwin: Married, Husband, Pregnant
Nearly five months after her wedding to Chandler Powell, Irwin shared the news of her pregnancy on Tuesday, writing on Instagram: “Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021.”
“Chandler and that I am proud to announce that we’re expecting! It’s an honor to share this special moment in our lives with you,” she wrote.
“Though I’m still in my trimester, we actually want you to be a part of our journey from the start of this new life chapter,” she added.
Irwin, a fanatical conservationist like her late father, married Powell in March within the gardens of Australia Zoo in Queensland. The venue is developing by her grandparents within the 1970s and remains travel by the Irwin family.
Her father referred to as “the Crocodile Hunter,” died in 2006 at the age of 44 when a stingray barb went through his chest during filming for a documentary.

Bindi’s mother, Terri, welcomed the news on Twitter, saying she was “over the moon” at the couple’s news.
“This is that the best day ever! I’m over the moon to announce that @BindiIrwin and @chandlerpowell9 are getting to have a baby! Words cannot express the love that’s filling my heart,” she said via social media. “While I wish that Steve was here to share this beautiful moment. I do know that he would be so proud,” she added.
Powell marked the news with a press release posted to Twitter. Saying that becoming a father “is the highlight of my life.”
“Bee, you are going to be the foremost amazing mother,” he added.
