Annie Wersching died from cancer on Sunday morning in Los Angeles.  Wersching was also understood for her voicework on the videogame ‘The Last of Us’ and more recently as the Borg Queen on ‘Star Trek: Picard,’ was diagnosed with cancer in 2020.

Wersching’s expansive TV credits contain roles on shows such as Timeless, Bosch, Supernatural, Frasier, General Hospital, Castle, and more. She was also the voice-over actor and motion-capture entertainer for the character Tess in The Last of Us video game. According to a GoFundMe founded on behalf of her family, Wersching was first analyzed with cancer in the summer of 2020. “She’s a secret person by nature, and that treatment made her even more so,” Ever Carradine, who began with her on Marvel’s Runaways, reported in the GoFundMe explanation. “She desired to save her boys. She liked to get more suitable so she could continue working.” Wersching kept working after her diagnosis, starring in roles including the Borg Queen in CBS’s Star Trek: Picard and Rosalind Dyer in ABC’s The Rookie. 

Annie Wersching is a famous American actress, well known for her role as FBI Agent Renee Walker on the television series “24.” She has also seemed in multiple other television shows and movies, including “Bosch,” “Extant,” and “The Taking of Pelham 123.”

Annie Wersching’s cause of death

Annie Wersching died, an Actress who was diagnosed with cancer in 2020, newly had a series of frequent recurring roles on Star Trek: Picard, where she played the Borg Queen, as well as The Rookie, where she occurred as Rosalind Dyer, a killer who escapes prison.

Before that, she had significant roles in numerous seasons of 24, Bosch, and Marvel’s Runaways. On 24, Wersching displayed Renee Walker, a Washington Field Office FBI unique agent, who groups with Kiefer Sutherland’s Jack Bauer through the Day 7 and Day 8 arcs, which play out during the sequel’s seventh and eighth seasons.

On Bosch, the actress displayed Julia Brasher, a rookie cop in the LAPD’s Hollywood Division, whose path crosses with Harry Bosch skilfully and privately across the first two seasons of the series, before she produced for season 7 in 2021. Between 2019 and 2021, Wersching succeeded in Marvel’s Runaways and for more than 30 episodes beyond three seasons of the Hulu series draw the mother of half-alien Karolina, in a villain-turned-ally position that originally pitted Leslie Dean against her daughter’s teen superhero batch of friends.

Her longest-running position would be as television producer Amelia Joffe in 80 episodes of the daytime soap General Hospital, along with multi-episode arcs on The CW’s The Vampire Diaries — as the mommy of Paul Wesley and Ian Somerholder’s directing vampires, Stefan and Damon — and NBC’s Timeless, as Emma Whitmore, a time traveler, and pilot who affects her death and become quit in time.

Annie Wersching Movies and Series

Across her profession, she would seem in a number of guest roles on famous shows like Angel, Boston Legal, Charmed, Cold Case, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Frasier, Hawaii Five-0, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles, and Supernatural.

In 2013, Annie would reunite in a one-off attack with several 24 co-stars, including Sutherland, for an episode of his FOX series Touch. She also regrouped with Supernatural showrunner Eric Kripke for a two-episode arc on his NBC series Revolution, as Billy Burke’s character’s former love desire.

While Wersching jobed mostly in TV, she did voiceover work for video games, most currently in Bioware’s 2019 online action RPG Anthem. However, she is most popular for her voice works in The Last of Us as Tess, a survivor of the apocalypse and smuggling partner to the Naughty Dog game’s greatest personality role Joel Miller.

Annie Wersching’s education and childhood

Born and raised in St. Louis, Wersching performed in musical theater and aggressive Irish dance before going to Millikin University, where she qualify and graduated in 1999 with a BFA in musical theatre. She lives in Chicago before exploring Anything Goes and A Christmas Carol, finally acting in famous theaters and festivals, including Chicago’s Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire, and the Utah Shakespearean Festival.

She shifted to Los Angeles in 2001, where she resumed her run as a theater actress in the regeneration of Do I Hear A Waltz? at the Pasadena Playhouse before lighting her first TV appearance on Star Trek: Enterprise.

A GoFundMe has been set up in her award to support her family and address funeral expenses.

Wersching is stayed by her husband, Full, and three children Freddie, Ozzie, and Archie.
