Robert Roy Pool is an American screenwriter best known for his work on the films Outbreak (1995) and The Big Town (1987), both starring Dustin Hoffman and Matt Dillon. He was also given a “story by” credit on the 1998 film Armageddon, which starred Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thornton. He has teamed up with Laurence Dworet, a former emergency room physician.
