Lacey Evans: Professional Life and Career

Evans is a former veteran of the U.S Marines. She served as a military police officer with the Special Reaction Team (a specialized unit similar to SWAT). Eva engaged at age 19 and served for five years. She was introduced to wrestling while in the Marines through a staff sergeant who promoted independent shows on the side. Then she trained with Tom Caiazzo at the American Premier Wrestling training facility in Statesboro, Georgia.

On 12th April 2016, Lacey signed the contract with the WWE. She made her first appearance in the NXT Brand at a live event, Battle royal. Later, she teamed with Sarah Bridges in a tag team match but they lost the match against the team of Billie Kay and Peyton Royce.

In 2017, she got the ring name Lacey Evans. In December, she compete in a fatal–four-way match to determine the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship, however, the match win by Bianca Belair.

She made her official main roster debut at the Royal Rumble appearing as the first contestant and remained in the ring for nearly half an hour.

After that, she frequently appeared on Raw, SmackDown and pay–per–views to interrupt various segments.

On October 11, she was drafted to SmackDown as part of the 2019 WWE Draft.  At the Crown Jewel event, Evans and Natalya became the first female wrestlers to wrestle in Saudi Arabia, where Evans lost.
