Justin Hurwitz is an American film composer and television writer who was born on January 22, 1985. He is best known for composing the soundtrack for the film La La Land. He has worked with director Damien Chazelle on many occasions and scored two of his films, Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench and Whiplash.
