He’s best known for his roles in several iconic 1980s films, like his role as Johnny Lawrence within the Karate Kid (1984), a task he reprised within the film’s sequel and therefore the YouTube Red show Cobra Kai. Zabka played the role of Greg Larsen within the 2000 television cult film Python and reprised the role because of the film’s primary villain in its 2002 sequel. In 2003, he wrote and produced the short film Most, shot on location within the Czech Republic and Poland. Most (aka The Bridge) had its performance at the Sundance festival 2003 and won numerous awards at prestigious film festivals, including better of Festival at the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films in 2003.
