The show followed the lifetime of a sister (Grammer) and her geeky brother, Rusty Cartwright, played by Jacob Zachar, as they navigate college and life within the planet of the Greek system sororities and fraternities during a midwestern Ohio college town.

In late 2012, she cast in an independent thriller originally titled 2br/1ba. The movie is Direct by Rob Margolies, it had been scheduled to be released in May 2015 as Roommate Wanted.

In 2013, Grammer starred opposite Blair Underwood in Ironside, the remake of the favored 1960s television series of an equivalent name. On the show, she plays the feminine lead, Holly, a part of the detective.
